My 2 year old is hilariously dramatic. I know it won't be cute when she's 6, 10, or 17, but right now, it's funny. Everything is a major event that deserves pomp and circumstance, everything (and I mean everything) makes her laugh, cry, or scream. Is this a girly-trait, or are most toddlers--girls and boys--way? I didn't experience this with my son who is 4.

YES! That is so normal. I am a 2 yr. old preschool teacher and all the girls in my class act like that. Even the boys sometimes. The girls will cry over anything- if they dont get the pink crayon first, if I dont call their name to be the line leader, if another child does not say their name correctly. It's totally normal. Some of the boys in my class are also overly dramatic with yelling and crying. I think it's part of the "terrible 2's". I have to sit back and laugh sometimes because I will ask them why they're crying and they will say "Because for no reason!".. LOL :) Good luck!
We have three girls in the house: 15, 4.5 and a bit over 3. This house is the drama center of the universe. Who would have guessed that there could be so much pms in one home. Even the little ones enjoy getting in on the act. Girls definitely have a knack for making life eventful. Little boys generally don't have the same voice pitch that comes from little girls. The auditory and sensory overload can be quite nerve-racking at times. A boy in this house would be in a perpetual state of confusion.
Yep...oestrogen!
