I just received a parking ticket today using a temporary car provided by the dealership(my original car is getting detailed). I was just wondering will that ticket still be traced back to my name since my license plate&vin # are not registered under my name?

If you pay the ticket, nobody cares.
If you do not pay the ticket, then they will use the license plate and VIN to trace it back to the dealership, and the dealership will look in its records to see who had the vehicle that day.
So, the answer is yes, it can still be traced back to your name, using the dealership's records of which customer had that vehicle.
It absolutely will be.
The ticket will be sent to the dealership.
The dealership will find out that you had the car.
You will receieve the ticket.
What, did you think you were in the clear, just because it wasn't your car?
