I ordered something online yesterday (Thursday) that was shipped today (Friday) via "Special Delivery™ Next Day"
The seller emailed me saying "You should have your item by 1pm which will need to be signed for."
My royal mail tracking says: "We have received your item and expect to deliver it before the guaranteed time on 01/11/10" that date is a Monday
Now I'm going to assume that they didn't pay the extra £2 for the guaranteed Saturday delivery, but is there still a chance that I will receive the package on Saturday (tomorrow)?
After all, Royal Mail do deliver packages on saturday.

There's a chance, yes. Maybe we can start a pool on this.
This answer of No is misguided i've got orders many products particular transport on Friday and that they have got consistently arrived on Saturday. the extra advantageous fee is a splash a money maker for Royal Mail all particular transport products will tried to be further day after today (different than for Sunday) offering they attain your interior of sight sorting workplace on time. The Saturday extra advantageous fee is in basic terms suited to companies as Royal Mail won't attempt to grant them on a Saturday (because of the business enterprise available being closed) except the excess fee is paid. yet quite often sure that's going to be delivered to you as general on Saturday regardless to the various sarcastic solutions u might locate referring you to royal mails t&c's
