What's so hard about getting rid of fleas? All you have to do, is get flea meds from your vet, and have a professional exterminator come out and spray your entire home and yard. What i so hard about that? There is NO excuse to have fleas in this day and age.

As you have already learned, flea collars are useless. Do not get flea stuff from the store - get good stuff from the vet.

Go to the vet. The vet can give you a pill for the dog to start killing fleas super fast. The next day, you treat the dog with Frontline then use that every month. In addition, you need flea spray from a pest control place. For now, you can help stop the problem by bathing the dog in Dawn dish washing soap - it kills the fleas that are on her and it's gentle enough to do every few days. You have to vacuum every day if you can or every other day.

Because your dog is infested with fleas he/she may have anemia. You should have the vet check for that.

For the scars, you need to see a dermatologist.
