Sex many times a day .. . ?
my ovulation week is Wed. July 4-11th ... i checked with a calendar ... and during this time my boyfriend and i are going to have as much sex as we possibly can ..(something fun to do) ... i am currently on the birth control pill Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo .. i never take it the same time everyday ..every time we have sex he ejaculates in me.. . i am wondering .. what are my chances that i will end up pregnant?
if i end up pregnant its okay .. we already know that our first pregnancy will be unplanned....

Having sex more than ocne a day doesn't up your odds much, since he doesn't have as many motile sperm the second time around (or the third). So it's basically the same odds as if you only did it once...if you ovulated that day, you will probably get pregnant...if you didn't ovulate (or aren't close to ovulation) you won't.
Be REALLY careful on Orth TriCyclen Lo...I took it exactly as directed at the same time every day and still got pregnant. The reason you're supposed to take them at the same time is that each pill is basically a 24 hours dose of ovulation-suppressing hormones, and if you go longer than 24 hours without taking another dose nothing is keeping your body from ovulating except just timing and luck. It is said that for every pill you take more than 12 hours late, your percentage chance of ovulating jumps up 7%. So I imagine if you only took one pill one hour late, it wouldn't hurt much, but if you took 7 pills in a month 8 hours late, it might be a bad idea.
Basically if you don't take them exactly as directed, they are not 99% effective. And even if you do take them as directed, 1 in 100 people is going to get pregnant anyway. Just be as safe as you can.
EDIT: Don't listen to the people who say getting pregnant on the pill will harm your baby. If it happens, baby will be fine. Babies born to mommies on the pill have the same number of defects as any other babies. I got pregnant on the pill and I heard everything in the book, including that if I had a boy he would be a hermaphrodite and not a true boy. My doctor says it's all baloney, and my son is just fine...and NOT a hermaphrodite!
The average times a married couple has sex is 3 times a week. Even if you aren't married that is a good average if you have been together for a while. If you are unhappy about how much your girlfriend wants to have sex then you need to talk to her. But don't put any blame on her or make her feel bad. You can go up to her and say, hey, I love to have sex with you, and it's great when we do it's just we are having sex a little more often than I would like. It sounds like you want to become pregnant. The chances of you getting pregnant on BC is less than 1%. It doesn't matter if you take it at different times of the day, as long as you take it everyday. You should stop birth control if you're planning on getting pregnant. You have a higher chance of getting a yeast infection or UTI from that much sex and ejaculation inside you than you do getting pregnant on birth control. Did you two ever think about getting married, or is that not a priority?
if you both want a baby, why do you both "know" that your first pregnancy will be unplanned? this sounds really weird to me. But hey, whatever. Yeah if you don't take it the same time everyday then at some point it is possible that you may become pregnant this way. But you should just wait till you both for sure want a baby and then just go off the pill? doesn't that make sense?

You are suppose to take the pill at the same time every day, it could fail and you could end up pregnant.

well, if you dont take it at the same time each day i think that increases your risk, but if you do get pregnant, and you dont know it for a while, and you keep taking birth control then it could harm the baby, thats why they say do not take birth control if you are pregnant.
The pill works great....I went "all the way" in my girlfriend many times and never had ababy, i agree with the others...if u want a kid, stop taking the pill.
it is still possible to get pregnant from doin that, especially if u r on other medication.
but if u want to be preg then just stop takin the pill.
also if u do fall preg this time round and u r on the pill that can hav a bad affect on the baby

You don't ovulate for a week. You ovulate at one day, and the egg is good for 12-20 hours.
