Technical difficulties?

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Y!A?

Everytime I sign in, it is showing questions from 19 hours ago. However, when I sign out, it lists questions just asked?!?!

That's a great idea Willa! I know I sure thought there was something wrong with my pc or yahoo id when this happened.

None of the categories are working at present. This happens every so often on Yahoo! Answers and no one really knows why. The only way that you can see new questions is by seeing them from your contacts, or on the Y!A homepage when the random new questions from all categories come up. That is how I ran into this one. Simply going to a category will not refresh new questions for now. The last time I saw this happen was about 3 weeks ago, but it only lasted for about 2-3 hours. I hope they fix it soon.

EDIT: For Y!A contacts, just find someone who you want to add, clock on their avatar, and it will take you to their profile. Once there, just click on "Add to My Contacts" and they will be added in your "Fans" list at the bottom of your profile.

EDIT 2: As for any tips and advice, nothing too in depth. Everyone complains of trolls who report everyone and everything, but that is often because they did violate a rule. Just answer questions thoughtfully and completely and refrain from chatting or personal insults or remarks and you will not have to worry about it. I have been on here for about a year and to date have only received 2 violation notices. One I deserved for calling out another person who was trolling in the military section and basically laughing at the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq. The other was for calling out a person in the military section as well who had copied my answer word for word as his own. However, I appealed and my answer was restored.

I wish you luck as Y!A is a lot of fun. Just don't take anything that happens personally as these people are nothing more than an online profile. You do not know them in real life and aside from Y!A, you will probably never meet them. Just learn to laugh at the trolls.
