Toyota Camry...good car?
Hey, so my parents are getting me a used car and are having me research. I found a 2004 Toyota Camry LE for $2900. It came with a pic and looks really nice. Are Camrys good cars? I will be driving in winter conditions too.

It is more than a good car, its the best in its class of mid size family sedans. It is the annual best seller for Toyota, up to 300,000 sold in the US annually. That says a lot about peoples confidence in this car, considering its also more expensive than other cars in this category.
Winter driving ability is largely determined by the type of tires you have on the car, good all seson tires at minimum with proper winter tires being ideal giving you extra measure of safety. Tires like Bridgestone Blizzak or Michelin x-ice.

Toyota's the best car ever made i buy them all the time they are reliable and great in gas, the prius is number car that is barely burn gas. But a 2004 Toyota for $2900.00 that is definitely a scam to me unless you're buying it from someone you know or a relative. on the other hand if that person has an emergency or moving out of the country or state that could be a great deal.
I agree with the last answer but the car sounds like a scam. $2900 for a 2004 Camry? If you said 1994, maybe. You can't even get a 2004 Camry as a salvage car for that little. If this is legitimate, you have just scored a deal of a lifetime my friend..
The 2004 Camry is an excellent car in almost every way, but that is a scam. Steer clear.
Yes a Camry is a very dependable and economic car... A friend had one with over 300k miles on it and finally gave it to his daughter... it's still going... & there are no major problems yet... But I recommend you check out any car thoroughly before parting with any money... If you can, take it to a garage and have a mechanic check it out... you will be glad that you did...

I, too, am very concerned about the price. Something is wrong. In fact, googling the stock number shows it on a whole bunch of craigslists, and it has been flagged for removal on all the lists.

yeah and its much better than any ford or chevy car.
