PLEASE excuse my grammar :( (And no i'm not trolling sometimes I come off that way because my grammar is bad, but im not i am serious)
So please hang in there ^^
So ever since I was really young I would just bang on this old piano we had, at first it was fun. but then I took a interest in it. I was interested in it so much when It was young that now I am able to play the piano completely by ear, every note I want to play I do not even have to think about where the note is, I sorta just feel where it is.
so sometimes occasionally I will just sit in front of a piano and just play notes at completely random based off the emotions I was feeling or going through at the time (Sad, Happy, mad, proud) at First I just thought of it as a hobby fun jam time. but then I started to notice that the music I was coming up with was actually pretty good (WHICH IS SOOO ANNOYING because I cannot wright any of the notes I am playing down because I have no idea what the notes are)
so I figured I would learn what the basics of them were and I did. A-G.
BUT I DO NOT ACTUALLY KNOW how to play Piano I do however KNOW HOW TO PLAY GUITAR.
The Piano sort of inspires me when I play it, when I play the guitar it does not really because I do not know how to play the guitar by ear. So I tried taking the notes from the piano and just finding those notes on the guitar. That should work.. right? right?... no... -_- The notes on the piano transfered to the guitar sounded HORRIBLE. nothing like it did on the piano.
So does anyone know how to transfer notes from a Piano translating that to Guitar notes?

If your standard guitar tuning is E A D G B E the frets move up in semi-tones. For example, if you barred the guitar on the first fret the notes you would now have are F A# D# G# C F (the note are up a semi-tone). If you know what notes on the piano you are using then just transfer that to the guitar then work out what the most efficient fingering is.
hmmm
