I'm a 20 year old female. I have everything going for me-I'm smart, I'm not bad looking, I have a great boyfriend...but I just am not happy. I always feel like my parents treat my brothers so much better and with so much more freedom than me. I'm the one with chores, I'm the one who does everyone's laundry...it just sucks. I'm a middle child. I just can't seem to figure out who I am. I feel like no one cares about me...How can I raise my self-esteem?

Find things that make you happy. Sing. Dance. Write. Talk with friends. Take long walks and enjoy the fall colours. Find things that you feel represent who you are. Oh yeah, and laugh. It sounds cliche, but it's very important. Your boyfriends obviously cares about you and I'm sure your family does as well. Try talking to your parents or asking your brothers to take on a little more responsibility.
i dont want to be mean. but almost everyone above 18 and living with thier parents will always have low self esteem.so i advise you to get a job save some money back and get an apartment
Your life is not what others make it , it is what you make it. We all have obligations and some don't seem fair but resenting our obligations is not a good foundation for building a better life. you can't please everyone or have everyone pleased with you. You must please yourself by being pleased with what you do and when that happens others will find you pleasing and go out of their way to please you. don't you feel better knowing that? meditate on it and put it to use & you will be as wonderful as you are but think your not.
move out of your parents house
Get your own apartment.
