My girlfriend and I are looking for the name of a series from the nineties that was filmed in both live action and in 'computer animation'. I remember that it involved 'robots' that fought in a virtual reality, with a background that primarily consisted of green lines, and she says it involved an evil computer that was controlled by a person who was normally shown at the end of the episode sitting in a dark room. We are both agreed that it is not V. R. Troopers, though it does remind her of Power Rangers. It was aired around the same time as the original (Mighty Morphing) Power Rangers series.
