Jesus was born a Jew and complied with all the Jewish festivals right up to the age of thirty when he was baptised...from then on he preached the "good News" of God's planned coming kingdom.
Because he preached in the temple in Jerusalem he would have to have complied with all the known written laws of the old testament...
Pentecost refers to only one of these festivals...
No the first mention of the gift of tongues was in Acts 2.
In Acts 2 there is also no gibberish or dancing. God is edifying. The purpose for the use of the gift of tongues was miracle in which people from different lands understood each other. It truly was an act of God that lead to thousands being baptized.
When some roll around on the floor blabbering nonsense, there is nothing Godly in them.
Of course not.The Apostles spoke in tongues but they didn't scream yeall and dance around. They held their meetings in peace with a reason,to be able to teach the peoples of the nations about Jesus in their own language
