Hilafilcon A is the soflens one day and B is the soflens 59 aka soflen comfort. the only differences is the water content. A is 70% and b is 59%. A is already being Replaces. check with the optical shop for the new lenses. they are called Soflens dailies disposable.
We know lenses by the brand name, not by the material they are made of. Of course they will be a good lens...IF they fit you right and are the right lenses for YOU. If you have never worn lenses , why don't you do it right and go to an eye Dr. to get them. You can't know all by yourself if those will be good lenses for you. They will teach you how to care for them also as well as how to wear them.

There are many different types of plastics/polymers/silicone/etc. on the market today and they get updated on a regular basis.

Not at all. Mine are senafilcon A---just a type of silicone hydrogel. No biggie ;) As long as they work, doesn't really matter
No, it doesn't matter. As long as they fit and you can see.
We don't order lenses by the polymers they are made of, we order by the brand name, and what ever it is made of just goes along with it....lol
