In truth, the GOAT job skill test is not set in stone.
If you talk to the teacher before the test, he will offer to let you just fix your score (bad karma option). After the test, you again get a chance to change your score to whatever you want to specialize in, or just accept it, but without the bad karma.
At some point your character asks, well, what was the point then? The teacher says something along the lines of it weeding out all the numbskulls who really did belong in sanitation engineering, or something like that.
Fallout 3 Goat Test
the g.o.a.t. stands for generalized occupational aptitude test.there are 10 questions that you can either take your time and answer or pick any answer you like because when you turn in your test a skills menu comes up on the pip boy and the 13 skills are listed with 3 of them being chosen to put points to,these are your tagged skills.you can leave them as is or change them, then you can hang around and listen to every one Else's results, some are funny.here is a little tip, before you leave the vault and go out in the wastelands you will be asked if your name and skills and such are the way you want them,if so great but make a save or 2 before you go out, this way if you change your mind or want to start a new game you can start from this point.hope this helps.good luck in the wastelands.http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/wiki/fallout_3/ and http://guides.gamepressure.com/
Generalized Occupational Assessment Test.
Its the test vault dwellers take to decide what job they will have for the rest of their lives.
In the game mechanics its whats used to decide what kind of character traits you have ie; Big Guns Sneaking, Lock pick etc etc.
General O-------- A-------- Test... all i no is that it's a test to see what job you would be best at and suggest what skill points you should add on... your father explains it to you in that chapter
It really doesnt matter what you select because after the test you have the option to distribute your skill points as you please. There really is no "right" answer.
look in the booklet that comes in the case and you don't really have to take it nothing special happens if you do or don't
