They are both fairly equal. Godaddy is a little more complicated and shady about it's operations when it comes down to pointing your domain name to different ip addresses, email, etc.
Neither. They both do exactly the same thing. The only differences would be if you were buying hosting packages. But domain registrars all do exactly the same thing

Both charge a fee try awardspace or digiweb there are also a few more free hosting sites out there
They both do the same thing. Godaddy is a bit evil though.
