I bought a box of white cake mix, wanting to make cupcakes. Then I took my son to the allergist and found out he is allergic to eggs. So now I can't follow the box directions. The box called for 3 egg whites, and I can't find a way to replace the egg whites in the cake mix. Any one know?

For a replacement for just the egg white, mix 1 tbsp plain agar powder (available from health food stores/Chinese stores etc) with 1 tbsp water. Whip together, chill it and then whip it again
