Yes, the mosquito would be able to fly to the front. The air inside the train is moving at the same speed as the train, and the mosquito is flying through that air.
The mosquito is moving faster than the train. If the train is moving 60 mph and the mosquito flies to the front, then it is moving faster than the train.
To someone sitting on the train, the mosquito would appear to be moving slowly (at mosquito speed) but to someone standing on the ground outside the train, the mosquito would be moving quickly. (Train speed + mosquito speed)
conservation of momentum. when the mosquito flies toward the front of the train, the train will actually slow down by the same momentum as is increased by the mosquito, but momentum being mass times velocity, the train's mass so far exceeds the mass of the mosquito as to be immeasurable.
The train moves faster !
That depends, is the mosquito made of wood or chocolate?
They both go the same speed.
both
