Why does my car slip back into nuetral?
I have an acura rsx type s 6 speed. I was on a red light up a hill and when the light turned green i put the car in first gear and when i started to accelerate 4mph i heard a loud bang and the cluch slipped back to nuetral.

Probably shift cable or rod damaged or out of adjustment. Or was not fully engaged in gear.
Tranny syncros, typical k20 tranny issue.
