It would be a pretty good move. He will get a starting spot for sure and plenty of confidence will come with it, but...... Like many people said, he might lose some of his pace, and there's always the chance that he might want to party more often since he's back in his native land.
Or, he could use this chance to gain experience and show the world what Giovani dos Santos is truly capable of given a consistnt amount of playing time.
Better than being in la banca. Let's see if he could score in mexico. If he can't than will see his real struggle. Is everyone forgeting chicharito came from mexico not europe. I say this because I see people saying that he should go to a 2nd division club in europe. Making it seem as mexico is nothing. I mean fmf is not like epl or other top european leagues but its better than sending him to mls or turkey league or 2nd division.
like fcb oscar said the mexican league will just downgrade him alot the speed is just not up there but atleast he'll get playing time and get spotted by someone who will actually play him if he steps it up and becomes the MVP of the FMF

Heck No Id Rather See Itamar Stayin Another Tournament Rather Than Gio Coming To Tigres Anytime

go back to Mexico and improve Gio then wait for a chance to play in Europe since you can't prove yourself by sitting on the bench
I'd rather have him play in the 2nd division of England instead of going to Mexico.
id rather see him play for tigres than not play at all. but he is coming back to mexico he should play with America instead :)
i doubt it but if it does happen it will just be a loan and thats it. still, i highly doubt gio will end up going to tigres.
