what do you think of Cano and Hughes for Matt Cain and Jon Sanchez from San fran.
i think that would be great. the yankees rotation would be
1.wang
2.joba
3.pettite
4.sanchez
5.Mussina/kennedy
thats a solid rotation for the yankees
Update:asker777 may be the most troubled person i had the displeasure of meeting. a typical bandwagon sox or rays fan. im giving the 10 pts to iceman becuase he was actually polite in his responce.
screw u all it was just a trade suggustion. its not that unfair. Cano will win a batting crown and Hughes is 1 of the best young prospects

Giants said Cain is off limits....
Yankees will not deal Cano.
Good thought, but not likely.
Cano isnt going anywhere but the yankees do need starting pitchers. It would be very unlikely that they would trade a great 2nd baseman and a decent pitcher for 2 decent pitchers. Besides you rotation is all wrong. It would be:
1. Mussina
2. Pettitte
3. Joba
4. Cain
5. Sanchez
remember that Kennedy, hughes, and wang are all on the DL and Wang isnt comin back 'till September. But to answer the question, it would never happen. The Yankees aren't goin to trade Cano because they have no other good 2nd baseman.
why in the world would the Giants do that trade?
You people, when you come up with these dumb trades, you've got to think about the other side too. Why would they do that?
"Yeah, why don't the Yankees trade Cano to the Cards for Pujols? I don't understand why they don't do that.
Why? Because the Cards wouldn't do it. Get it now?"
And this isn't a "trade rumor." This is just a lame trade you made up in your head. At least have the decency to title your post correctly.
On one hand, that's available by fact AFraud lives in Miami throughout the offseason and the Marlins choose something -- even a chunk of crap, washed-up, steroids-utilising, third baseman -- to attempt to entice followers next season. That suggested, I doubt the Marlins gets him for no longer something regardless of if the Yankees take Bell, so as that area of the story is marvelous. I, in my view, think of Miami would be nuts to manage ARoid by fact he's a participant thoroughly and fully with out upside, and he's so previous now that a transformation of environment won't reenergize his profession. Loria had a run final season the place he blew money on "call" gamers yet none of them have been washed-up while he signed them. i actually doubt that this deal pans out.
Oddly enough, it would be typical of the Giants to trade away young pitching talent. However I don't think this trade would happen. The Giants would be giving away too much. They could use a 2B, but Cano is having a sub-par year, and Hughes really has yet to prove himself.
Giants dont need either of them. Both Cain and Sanchez are valuable to the Giants.
the yanks are the worst team in baseball sure they had the most acomplishments but seriously dude they need better players! even the pirates and rangers are better and thats a diss. take all the old ppl in their team like jeter and cano id trade them for evan longoria of the rays. if ur a yanks fan u better switch to the mets there awesome!!!!!!!! the yanks dont even have a ghost of a chance to win the world series yesterday they faced the pirates and lost 4-2 i pity the yankees. shame on them
thanks for listening and remember switch teams :-)
1. Please dont call it San Fran
2. The Giants ARE NOT trading Cain and Sanchez, thier pitching staff is what is keeping them alive, so there is not may in hell, according to Brain Sabian (SF GM) that they will trade their young pitching, better luck next time yankees
no one wants Phil Hughes, the Yankees rushed him and ruined his arm... I don't think San Fran is selling right now... but the Yankees could use a starting pitcher.... maybe Wolf from San Diego, or someone from Colorado...
A. right now Hughes isn't worth that much right now. B. WHERE is cain in your rotation? \Finally Rotation would look like this.
1) Wang
2) Cain
3) Mussina
4) Pettite
5) Joba
