It sounds like you have over-charged your ac system. In this case I would take it to an AC specialist so they can vacuum down your system and properly refill.
Yea, ya know just because they sell those cans in the store doesn't mean you should use them. You may have done some serious damage despite your good intentions. Even this experienced DIY'er realizes the fastest, cheapest and best place to take A/C is to a certified shop. Good luck.

Maybe there's a bad leak and it all went out as fast as it went in.
Or that's was not the problem and now it's way overcharged. (bad)
If it was overcharged it would run a few minutes and cut out.(on the "high side")
The computer decides to energize the relay for the compressor clutch to engage..
The engine must be stable at an idle.
The low side pressure must be high enough. (at least 20 - 30 pounds)
If the high side pressure gets too high it is shut off. (over 275 lb)
The wires to the sensors or a sensor could be bad.
A sensor could be bad or the relay or compressor wire or the clutch or compressor or hose could be bad.
