i got a replacement ff ebay, and followed the instructions, but when i try the 'insert key into ignition 6 times until hazards flash twice"
nothing happens.
no hazards or nothing.
whats wrong?
Update:what had happend is i bought the car used, and the person i bought it from's remote died, so they bought a new one and i cant get that one to work
yes all the lights work and everything.
and where is the FCC#?

Not all sentras have keyless entry. Did your car have a Key fob and it stopped warking? Look at the FCC# on the back of the fob's do they match. DID you use the powerlock switch to lock the doors before starting the procedure? Trunsignal fuse and 4 way flashers work? Were you using my print out [email protected]
you have to make sure the alarm system is factory oem and not aftermarket. The instructions are for factory installed alarms not third party alarms. Also you might have to try a few times to get it down exactly right. It rarely works the first time you just keep trying and will eventually get it to work. You must make sure to not pull the key in and out too fast leave at in a good two seconds each time and wait a good two seconds before reinserting. Also the igntion must be turned to a certain point like to on or accessory or whatever the directions tell you. Good luck.
