listen to me. go to your local CVS or whatever, and buy a stick of Cocoa butter. it really, really works. it doesn't yeild immediate results, but after rubbing it on yoiur scars for a couple of weeks, they'll be gone forvever. plus--cocoa butter smells REALLY good! lol, trust me, cocoa butter is the way to go.
I know how you feel. I have surgical scars. They are ugly. Fortunately, they are on my belly. I'm too old to expose it now without looking desparate. LOL! I've learned to live with it. In intimate situations I feel a little self conscious, but generally men don't make a big deal about it. A few guys have even kissed them to show that they were not a turn off [lucky me.]
There are products on the market that reduce the appearance of scars. You can try them. Some even claim to work on old scars.
If you are a person of color, you may not want to opt for surgery to correct them because it may just mean more scarring.
My best advice is that you learn to live with them. Your scars you have survived something. Only shallow people will spurn you because of your scars.
