Muslims or Christians?
I respect Muslims "a hell of a lot more" than Christians. At least they actually practice what they preach, don't pick and choose what scripture to follow. The word of god is the word of god, they don't say I hate gays, but that part about slavery isn't important I don't agree with that!
Update:@Min SHE ISN'T A CHRISTIAN. SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW THE BIBLE.

I hear you. Yes, Muslims do tend to take their holy book more seriously than Christians do. This may engender a bit of respect on my part, but this respect is nowhere near the scorn I have for any religious group that denies basic human rights on the basis of their beliefs (backed up, of course, by their holy book).
Your being a little insulting, whether you realize it or not.
Some people dont pick and choose but on the other hand you are right about people picking and choosing what verses they like or don't like it's hypocritical, but not just Christians are guilty of that. Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and Wiccans do the same. I've read the Koran and it says that people of the book (abrahamic religions) will enter paradise but some Muslims go out and kill Christians and Jews because they think they are infidels, does that not count as picking and choosing? It's not a religious thing, it's a human thing. people pick and choose what makes sense to them,
So next time think at least 10 seconds before you post such an ignorant question
"At least they actually practice what they preach, don't pick and choose what scripture to follow. "
I see you're unfamiliar with the Quran and the behaviour of Muslims.
"don't pick and choose what scripture to follow."
I respect someone more when they exercise at least some amount of thinking for themselves, instead of abdicating all thought to some iron age con man (whether that's Paul or Mohammad). There's a billionish Christians and Muslims, I don't automatically respect every Christian more than every Muslim or every Muslim more than every Christian.
I am afraid that I respect neither faith. I have respect for individual Muslims and Christians that I know, but all religions have hypocrites, that is how they survive it seems to me.
Oh yes let me go respect a muslim because driving a plane into the twin towers because of my faith is such a good idea. Yeah they sure practice it alright
There is a correlation between religion and hypocrisy!
The stricter someone is in his/her religion the bigger the hypocrites they are!
You too decides to now follow the entire Qu'ran you say it yourself. It's good you don't do it, but don't pretend muslims follow the entire Qu'ran, most don't, just like the Christians.
I think since Christians don't blindly follow what they believe because it is written in some book it shows they are more respectable.
I'm scared of both ilks. I don't especially disrespect them, except to give them dirty looks. Sure I know Christians are shifty or whatever, but I don't know much about Muslims from personal experience.
.
They both believe the same much edited stuff from a bunch of old Jewish texts written by people who couldn't agree with one another.
So I make it a tie.
It depends on the person. My best friend is a Christian, and she is extremely open to all people- atheists, Muslims, homosexuals, you name it. I also know a Muslim who is very nice and she is just as open to people. And there is an atheist in one of my classes whom I hate- he goes around yelling at religious people. -_-
