I stopped having my period after I went off birth control in May. It is now November and has been 6 months. Just last month my boyfriend and I became sexually active, using a condom except for 1 time, for only about 1 minute (he didn't *** that I know of). It has now been 2 weeks and just 3 days ago I started taking Amethia Birth Control. I noticed that on day 2 of my birth control pills, my nipples get hard and then go soft even if I'm not cold. Is it possible I am pregnant or am just having side effects from the birth control. I had not had a period in 6 months, and due to this fact it seems highly unlikely I am pregnant. I also took two pregnancy tests, one test 6 days after intercourse and the second test 10 days after intercourse. I am debating getting a blood pregnancy test and am starting to freak out! Any good advice?

First of all, 6 days after intercourse and 10 days after intercourse are way to soon for a pregnancy test to show anything. You need to be at least 5 days before your period for any of the first response tests and to have already missed your period with others. It is most likely that you not pregnant and it was just a side effect of the hormone in Amethia. Wait until it has been 3 weeks since intercourse and test again if you haven't gotten a period.
