Im 16, have a job, make about 400 a month, and i wanna do a monthly plan for a moped that costs 900 dollars, can i do that, or do i need a credit card, but i cant get a credit card
I don't think you can get a credit card or a loan until you're 18. Maybe you could get your parents to get a loan for you and you could make the payments to them? $900 is such a small amount though! If I were you, I would just save for a few months and pay cash for it.
If the funds are not available, the agreement will default. As someone mentioned, you can receive a "skip," but you have to contact the IRS at least 10 days prior to the payment date. Interest will stay the same, however, the Failure to Pay penalty rate of 1/4% per month will rise to 1% per month until the agreement is reinstated. You shouldn't have to pay an overdraft fee unless the bank actually covers the payment. The IRS will not withdraw the funds at a later date. However, if you ignore the default letter the account will go back into collection status where the IRS can levy your entire bank account.

What about saving $200 a month in cash and buying the moped for yourself for Christmas?
You need to be 18 in the United States to sign a legal contract.
That would be up to the moped dealer and your parents.
Your parents would have to co-sign the loan since you are still a minor.
No. That would have to be like a contract which you can not enter into until you are 18
