There is a slug I see in the yard, barely in the house. Very small, less than one inch. I don't wanna get rid of him, he's cool. Can I put him in a container and feed him with something? Is it dangerous, will there be the raise of slugs-giants that will eventually kill humankind starting with me and my house?
Seriously, is it dangerous? Don't answer with mockery or jokes

Yea, they are cool pets totally harmless except garden veggies and then, they prefer the stuff starting to rot.
Biggest I ever saw was about a foot long and a couple pounds.
Most in my yard get 4 to 5 inches. The ducks eat them up quick.

A slug is basically a homeless snail. They need high humidity and plants and vegetables to feed on. From my experience in the garden they like tomatoes, lettuce and strawberries. If it is a little rotten they like it even better.
