I have an old bass amp and cabinet that I don't use anymore and was wondering if its possible to hook up other nonpowered speakers to the amp head. I am trying to start DJing and need to power one or two smaller speakers and would much rather use the amp I already have instead of buying a new one.

Here is a link to the amp head that I have

You can do it but will it sound ok ? The only way to tell is to try it and see.
If you have a 4 Ohm amp, you can power 2 x 8 Ohm full range speakers from it, but I don't know if it will put out enough mid and top to sound good. You would do better to buy a smaller stereo amp to drive 2 mid/tops, and use the bass head and cab for a sub. In most big PAs the bass speakers take about twice the power that the mid/tops do, so if you have a 200 watt bass amp, a 50wpc stereo amp for mid-tops should be enough to match it. I think a 2.1 system like this will sound a lot better than just one bass bin. You can link the left or right output from your desk to feed the bass amp. I guess your desk will have a microphone ?
It depends on what amp you have how how its designed....its possable depending on the type of hook ups it has....
