So im planning to make no bake cookies for my sister as a surprise. But I ran out of cocoa powder. Lucky of me(or unlucky of me) i found a unopened canister of cocoa powder that is said to expire in 2008(two years ago) so now im anxious to use it or not. But since it is in a air tight seal everything should be okay...right?

It should be fine, since it's in the original sealed canister. We didn't have all these dates on things until recently. I'm sure my mother and I had cans of cocoa powder for lots of years without any problems. To be honest, I've never noticed a date on the cocoa powder!
Yep its fine, i have been using baking powder from 2008 and nothings gone wrong. You can use it
well its better not to take risks as you dont want ur sister to fall sick...why dont you just melt choclate..or you can bake almond cookies or coffee cookies!!
Yes its perfectly fine. hahaha
