ok first of all I have a contract for s warranty with the dealer they are obligated to fix any problems on the car and I have to get a inspection sticker from an independent mechanic from the dealership so anyone who thinks a shady dealership is doing me a favor by breaching the contract is probably a shady dealer themselves. if anyone who isn't bias wants to help me decide what to do about a dealer not giving me the car I paid for and have a bill of sale for because they now claim something is wrong with the car. and for any smart pants who claims otherwise they assured me it had been inspected prior to being put on the lot. it was presidents day weekend I think they accidently sold it twice. its fishy.

I don't know what state your in but in CA they would be in a world of ****, you can demand the car, but back off a little because you will probably get a better car out of these guys, car dealers are regulated by the state, a couple of phone calls and you can make these guys wish they never met you, you might even talk to an Attorney and see if they will make a call for you and that will really light the fire, no matter what you've got them, they sold you a car that could not be sold to a private party, don't settle for something you don't want , you will have to check on who to call in your state, Good Luck
We aren't biased.
I hate car dealers!
Car dealerships don't sell cars twice! Especially 11 year old Civics that are a dime a dozen.
Stop being so paranoid. You aren't out anything so move on. Inspections are not fool-proof and things get missed the first time around.
Good dealers send crap cars to auction because they don't want to put the public in danger and they want to keep you as a customer!
Yes, there ARE good dealers out there that do business the right way!
If you thought they were shady, then why would you agree to do business with them in the first place? If you don't like them, get your deposit back and go look for the next 2001 Civic.
Please don't clog up our courts and consumer protection agencies with your frivolous complaints.
FLANDERS! "I hate car dealers!"...damn you! You hurt my feelings! ;-)
There is nothing you can do young lady so quit asking questions. How F&^KING rare can this 01 Civic be? Come on....I just searched, in my area within 100 miles, and there are 15 to choose from.
Not the answers you want to hear, but you don't have a leg to stand on...nor a brain in your head if you think you have a case. They did you a favor...there was problem with car you moron!
Sweet Jesus...get over it and move on with your life!
That is all...have a nice day!
File a complaint with the attorney generals office for your state and with the department of motor vehicles. they should be able to get it straightened out.
