I am a Buddhist from Sri lanka and every year we celebrate the Christmas and many Sri lankan Buddhists celebrate it although it's about 5% of Christian population. It's not a sin if we don't worship Buddha. We do it just to pay the respect. Our ultimate goal is achieving the enlightenment. So you can follow Buddha's teaching while being a Christian.Buddha was a teacher. He just taught us how to end our suffering. It's up to us to learn and follow it.
We don't worship our school teachers ya? but we do respect them. And we follow their teaching because it makes sense. So it's same with the Buddhism.

Do buddhists celebrate Christmas?
Do Buddhists celebrate Christmas? (I want to be a buddhist,im a young english girl in high school intrested in buddhism)
Do you mean celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday ... go to church or mass? Why would Buddhists do that?
Or do you mean celebrate Christmas as a commercial tradition/holiday ... put up a tree, give gifts, eat a big meal on your day off? Why not? It's fun.
Well my aunt is Buddhist and she celebrates christmas with us every year but some buddhist may not celebrate it.
i am a buddhist and celebrate christmas as its my birthday also, so why not
Only if they want to. There aren't too many rules in Buddhism.
yes some do because they live in a christian country so they celebrate to fit in and to enjoy the christian festival
