Well yeah its a painfull experience but I promise its a finger prick compared to the contractions you'll be having by the time you ask for it and after you get? Heaven. Cant feel the little thing hanging out of your back feeding you the numbing meds. I had an epidural with #1 and I plan on having it again with #3 so I can straiten my hair and put a little bit of foundation on my face before the birth. No bad pictures for me this time and yes its that good!

It doesn't hurt but I think that's only because labor is so painful you don't notice. You do get local first and the epidural is a big needle but as I like to say, it's a big needle full of love! I recommend them

I did not feel the Epidural at all when I had my son. The contractions were a lot worse and at the time I had a contraction and I was in so much pain that I wanted the epidural lol :)

I didn't even feel the local because i was having a horrible contraction. Nope you don't feel the epidural, but the relief after is awesome!

No your too busy focusing on all the painful contractions. I had an epidural and i can't remember feeling a thing except for the relief it gave me.

Well I felt it.. Its a horrible pinch feeling and doesn't last long but afterwards that relief is so worth it..
