do i qualify for a tax abatement?
I bought a used car in August and 3 weeks later uninsured it because it turned out to be a lemon car. The car to my knowledge is still registered...but I got a new car. Yesterday, I got an excise tax form in the mail saying I owe $57 in taxes but can I get that completely erased since I only drove the car for 3 weeks? I also got my excise tax the same day for what I own on the car I bought after this one...any help is appreciated. thanks

You will have to get the correct information from your DMV local office or your local taxing authority where you are located.
what did you do with the lemon? return to where you bought it? they should have refunded your purchase price, all taxes and license included
the bill for the excise tax that was handled by the people you bought the car from should take care of this matter for you and get it cleared
