This is a question for you people who work around preschoolers. Based on what you see, do you think that preschoolers tend to form into cliques? Thanks ♪
I am no pre-school teacher but I babysit young kids a lot and I remember from my own experiences.
Yes they do! Actually, little kids can be the cruelest because they don't know any better!
I remember in pre-k there was this group of 4 snotty girls who wore dress-up make up and dressed all preppy and prissy. Then there was me and my 3 guy friends... the tom boys :] I hated those snotty girls.. we're best friends now! One goes to my sister-school!
They sure do, and it's more common among girls. I've heard girls as young as three exclude another child from playing with them for a reason as stupid as not liking her clothes. The fascinating part is that these cliques usually have a "queen bee" who decides who is in and who isn't and that can change for almost any reason. Preschool teacher sometimes have to spend a lot of time teaching kids empathy and fairness. To read more about how to deal with this read "You Can't Say 'You Can't Play" by Vivian Paley.
I'm a preschool teacher who works with 2-4.5 year olds. My experience is that the older kids (4 year olds) definately do. I have seen the younger ones get very close friends and always want to be together...but they don't exclude others (which is what a clique does). The 4 year olds, on the other hand, can get especially catty with each other and mean...often it's girls!
I worked in nursery schools and public prek-fifth grade schools.
No..they don't. Children and adults tend to go with what's familiar.. first they may try to play with people similar to them and once they are comfortable they will branch out to other kids unless diversity has been apart of their household from the very beginning.
Children will form preferences just like you did when you sought out your better half. They will choose to either go with a kid that can deal with their hitting them all the time.. or a kid that likes to share his sweets...etc etc etc. and shun the kids that are adversely different such as bullies, liars, and those that just rub them the wrong way.
Cliques usually show up in fifth grade to junior high and become really bad in high school if socializing is not handled nicely..
If the teacher has a population that is all the same race.. then the child will just seek compatible personalities and will go along to get along with everyone else...
If different populations exist similarities are sought first.. and as teachers have them partner up or interact via games and outdoor play.. the students will branch out to more personalities.. unless their parents/ teacher lack social skills.
Rock and dad specific has its problems. Many trolls, which i think of we ought to constantly no longer renowned in any respect. If we somewhat need to rid of them. by potential of telling them that they are stupid and to pass away you're in basic terms exciting them. in basic terms forget approximately approximately them! There are some sturdy trolls however. i like that the musical tastes right here in R&P are so distinctive. it sort of feels that persons with comparable style are frequently extra advantageous acquaintances/contacts around right here. i think of that's stupid that there is a few hate around right here. that's somebody you have by no potential met (possibly) and you have in basic terms contacted over the internet. How undesirable can or no longer this is?! yet I forget approximately relating to the downsides and in basic terms come to R&P to relax with contacts and communicate relating to the music i like. So all that up there I observed, it does not hassle me too lots. MQ: nicely, I used to demonstrate screen it whilst i became into in trouble-free college :P i do no longer like it one bit now. I even have yet to work out a *extremely* unique singer go on the coach who became into in basic terms amazing and blew me away. this is the comparable element each and every 365 days to me. You temporarily fall in love with a singer and then completely forget approximately approximately them because of the fact they ar eso accepted and are unable to place in writing extra advantageous than 2 great pop radio hits. ok, my rant is over haha. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ i'm guessing the thumb down became into in the direction of my rant? And Nancy! That album is wonderful! i like Kamelot. have you ever listened to 'Epica,' the album before 'The Black Halo'? It follows the comparable storyline, and the music is in basic terms as candy!
