Yes they do in traditional weddings. I found this online....."According to Spanish custom, a Spanish bride wore, and still might wear, a black silk wedding dress with an intricately designed black lace veil. Her groom usually wears an embroidered shirt, hand made by his future wife."
Brides should be able to wear any colour they like without people being critical of it, white is funeral colour in India, cultures differ all over the world and I think our society has to stop being so narrow minded about the wearing of white at weddings, yes it is traditional, yes it does look lovely, yes it is the expected thing to wear, but there are no laws and I do not think it is anyone's decision about what colour the bride wears except the bride herself. White only became popular because Queen Victoria wore white, only the wealthy could afford to keep white materials clean, so it is a status symbol, times change, traditions change, come on people, move with the times.
Why are you doing a renaissance marriage ceremony? What aspect of that subject appeals to you? Take the ones solutions and start to formulate a few recommendations. If you're determining a renaissance marriage ceremony considering the fact that you each love the models and surroundings, incorporate that to your rite and/or reception. If the track or the dance appeals to you, incorporate that. It's all approximately what you prefer and the way you wish to don't forget your colossal day. The probabilities are unlimited - you'll do the clothes, the track, the leisure, the meals, the form, the tone, the lighting fixtures, the situation, close to whatever! Good success!
Don't have a clue but it sure does sound weird!Try finding a normal (good luck there) woman ! Scratch that its impossible considering they are by nature one of the most ABNORMAL creatures ever made !
