Do You Believe Children Deserve Respect?
Sometimes I feel like I'm being belittled by my parents. And they say they deserve respect and I totally understand that. But when I mention them respecting me as well in order to get that respect, they lash out at me. And that's when I give up and rebel. I mean I'm human and as a human I'd like some respect. It's like they forget and think that children are children and nothing more :(

Do you actually do anything around the home to EARN their respect??
Things like doing the dishes, cleaning your room, helping with the garden, washing the car or giving your mom a hand on shopping day.
Your parents LOVE you and that is a form of respect only a child can receive from a parent. Children, regardless of their age or gender should LOVE, Honour AND obey their parents, because one day they will expect the same from their own offspring.
