a metaphysical human or being? The reason for this question was that some people refer to themselves as just a Pagan, just a Christian, or just what faith they identify with. There are even some of the more strict forms of religions, such as those of the monotheistic beliefs Christians, Jews, Muslims, that consider themselves of the metaphysical state of their beliefs due to abilities as Empaths, Sensatives, Mediums, and Psychics. So whether you have these metaphysical abilities or not, how do you percieve yourself? A guiding light of your faith, a privelaged soul, a metaphysical human, or just who you are based on your faith or no faith at all.

Update:In other words, do you consider yourself "more than the some of your parts, spiritual and physical"?

I consider myself a spiritual being having a human experience. My body is merely a vessel for me to be here on Earth and to accomplish my mission in this lifetime. When someone just says they are human, to me, that person is more identifying with the ego side of them self.
I am a Witch, nothing more and nothing less. I also happen to be a member of the human species, an American, an upstanding citizen of my community, a father, a town board member, a teacher and a student. All depending on the circumstances in which I need to self-identify. I believe that we ALL tend to wear many hats at different points and under different aspects of our lives.

I didn't know that we were supposed to explain every time we ask or answer a question what sort of being we are. However if it make things clear for you I shall put myself into some sort of a category. I often call myself a Folklorist/Good Witch or a Writer/mom whatever is appropriate to the question I am answering or asking but the truth be known I believe myself to be a Multidimensional human being. Peace&Love be with you...~M~
