i prefer the applause because, if there is a minutes silence, there is a chance that a few morons can spoil it by shouting, making noises, etc.....but when there is a minutes applause, what can those same morons do to be "different", be quiet?? it just doesn't work for them!!!

a minutes silence seems more appropriate and respectful to me.
but i guess the applause is more uplifting.id still go with silence.
A minutes applause. It's just nicer. A minutes silence is a bit of a downer.
- A minutes applause feels more like you're honouring the good memories of that person, whereas a minutes silence kinda makes you feel like you have to feel the sadness of them being gone. If you know what I mean.
as an Arsenal fan NONE
a Minute silence is when there is a cross in the box
an apllause is when a Club Legend is being honored( and we find a way to fvck it up for him)
applause...my stomach is always rumbling with a minutes silence
