Blur are really diverse and innovative, and there songs are really intelligent musically and lyrically. They have a wide range of sounds (Listen to Song 2 then listen to something like Sweet Song, or The Universal) and influences. And even though Graham ended up leaving, the chemistry between the members was really something. Oh, and they (mostly) were all ridiculously good looking...
Oasis, were a big part of my childhood because my parents listened to their tapes in the car. So of course I'm going to feel nostalgic when I hear their songs. All their songs sound quite similar to each other, familiarity can be a good thing. They're songs are pretty fun and easy to play on guitar, and are extremely melodic and make you want to sing along. Shame the Gallaghers couldn't ever really sort their act out though.
I've been listening more & more to Blur recently, it's become a bit of an obsession. So if I absolutely had to choose, I'd say Blur.
Oasis surely. Oasis are remembered extra fondly besides, or a minimum of their song is. little or no Blur is performed on the radio anymore yet (a minimum of the place i'm) Oasis remains performed each so often. i think of Blur did have a great variety of sturdy songs yet those have been outweighed via their habit of doing shaggy dog tale or novelty songs (Parklife and so on.). because of this Oasis tend to be considered as having extra musicality. i think of Oasis would be extra my element, i discover the accessory in maximum Blur songs vaguely irratating no person in London easily has that sturdy an accessory it is endearing in a manner yet is distracting from the fairly song. So Oasis and stay continuously, the importance of Being Idle, The Masterplan, Lyla, gas Panic. . . Eek i'm unable to %. a known!
