Egypt: translate "gender" into Arabic please?

I was out having dinner with friends, and the whole "water spilling bitc*" thing came up.

What I found peculiar is how completely different the guys and the chicks saw it.

The ladies thought it was so grotesque, and came down hard on her, while almost all the guys blamed me for not giving her my number and shutting her down!!

I thought they were freakin kiddin but as it turns out, almost all of em said they'd gladly exchange numbers with her if the same happened to them.

I kept going on and on about how whor*-ish her actions were and how much trouble I would've surely gotten into later coz of her, but they never seemed to mind!!They actually thought she was being "brave" O.o and in their words "garee2a" (as in fiesty somehow!! O.o)

The thing is: that got me thinking of my non-Egyptian friends back in the gulf and how I'm pretty sure most of em would have prolly smacked the bitc* over the cheek given the chance. Don't get me wrong I'm not sayin they didn't date and make out with chicks, but at least they weren't as gullible as these Egyptian guys were.

So my question is: Has the way Egyptian guys and girls operate really grown that far apart?Do Egyptian guys really think a chick like that even deserves a second glance? If so, why would they allow themselves to do it when it's just a bitc* they're gonna spend a week or 2 with, but when they decide to get serious with a girl, she has to be the perfect nun whose never even uttered a word to a man before them?

I must admit I've been learning a lot ever since I came to Egypt, and to be honest most of it tends to be paradoxical.

Update:

@Monkey: I don't really know your definiton of "conservative", but she was wearing a sleeveless top and a pair of skinny jeans.
