Email address has trojan horse?
I can go to www.yahoo.com. But when I try to open my email there, I get a warning from my virus software that the file I'm trying to open [the one that opens my mailbox] at the Yahoo.com site is infected with a trojan horse. Will not permit me to open. So I can't read my yahoo.com mail.
Since the infected address is at Yahoo. com, can yahoo. clean it? Is this a widespread problem? Somebody working on it? Any news? Thanks.

I have the exact same problem. It has only started occuring today, the same time news has started regarding hackers getting account information. Does anyone know what we need to do ? Is information at risk ? Is it possible to close my Yahoo Mail account if i can't get into it ?

Yahoo does have something to put on the toolbar that check for spyware, etc. Enter ...YAHOO ANTI VIRUS PROTECTION in your webrowswer and you will get the website to download it... If you have AntiVirus protection of some kind then that should take care of it...Run it immediately, If by chance you don't have Anti Virus protection there are several free ones AVG is a good one. go to download.com or cnet.com and they have a good list of some..OR just enter AVG in your web browser and bring up the web site...Remember to use only ONE as more than that conflicts with each other. good luck

I don't have an answer but have the same problem and my anti virus scanned and told me there was a problem but cannot fix it. I still cannot get into yahoo mail...
