My best friend's birthday is coming up, and she wants the slippers from target...the ones that look like Uggs but aren't.

Real
The thing is, obviously she would rather have actual Uggs, but I can't afford to get her those.
Do you think if I get her the imitation and then get real ones for myself for Christmas (from my parents) that would be rude? Then it would be like saying "the fakes are fine for you but not for me?" Do you think that is what it will come off as?
By the way, please don't say that Uggs aren't cool or any of that.
Update:Do you think if I get a pair of the fakes for myself as well and then get the reals for myself for Christmas that would make the situation better?
And I'm not THAT cheap. I'll get her something with the slippers.

well....YOUR uggs are going to be your parents' present right?
so it's not rude. it's just that you can't afford to buy real uggs with your own money but your parents can.....and they decided to give it to you as a gift.
No i dont think it would be rude if you got her the fake ones. If shes a real friend she wont really care that you have the real ones. Or if she wants the real ones so much tell her to ask her parents to get them for her for christmas.
Well it wouldn't be rude to get the real ones for Christmas if shes a real friend she won't mind but why not get the fakes I think they look nicer
