Ive been with my girlfriend for 10 months now. Shes beautiful and smart and funny and just awsome :) Shes very outgoing and wants to be friends with everyone. We love each other sooo much :)
In 10 months shes never slept over at my place. I never knew why, we have sex, she just never wants to say over. A week or so ago I started to get frustrated about it. She said she "just didnt feel like sleeping over". But thats what she always says. So I confronted her and told her that I was upset she was so resistant to share a bed with me. So she broke down and last night stayed over.
I woke up this morning and her side of my bed was soaked and she was in the bathroom crying. Long story short, I had to break into my own bathroom with the key. And she admitted to be that shes a lifelong bed wetter, and no medical treatments have worked or anything. She said she was just going to stay up all night so it didnt happen but she dozed off and yeah...
I wish she had just told me about this a long time ago, but I guess it was just too embarrassing for her. I hugged her and tried telling her I love her no matter what and this is not going to make think less of her and that she can tell me anything, but shes still really upset. We went out today but she just didnt seem herself. I hate seeing her so upset like this... how can I make her feel better (and make her comfortable enough to sleep over again?)

How MANY MORE times do plan on posting this SAME crap over and ovar and over.....??
It's really sweet that you comforted her and nothing changed even after that because it shows you love her. Most guys would run for the hills and not care that it is something she can not help and is embarrassed about. It's not like she chose to do it. But i think you need to talk to her because she is obviously feeling ashamed and embarrassed about it because it's not something you do at a certain age.
Just tell her that it's fine and she shouldn't feel embarrassed around you because you love her no matter what and that you accept this problem. If she ever stays around again just put something down under her that will be easy to clean.
Also, does she go to the toilet before bed because i know that stopped the problem when i was younger. I wet the bed when i was really little and then i started going to the toilet every night (without fail) just before going to bed and have never done it since. Also tell her not to drink alot before bed because she can't wet the bed if she doesn't need the toilet.
You sound like a strong, supportive boyfriend and most of all, you really love her. Of course it doesn't matter that she wets the bed. There's no way to stop her feeling embarrassed apart from to show her over time how much you love her and how little you care about this (other than it upsetting her).
To cheer her up and show her how little it matters to you, surprise her with something nice. Take her out to dinner and buy her flowers or a present. That way she'll feel more secure about your feelings for her in spite of it.
It's such a silly thing to think would effect how much you love her. Just look at the things that people love people in spite of! Much worse.
Also, next time she stays over, if she tries to leave, tell her if it makes her feel more comfortable, she can but you enjoy spending the night with her regardless. If she doesn't stay, don't be offended. But tell her she's always welcome to and that you'd like of to.
All she needs is a bit of reassurance. If you're nervous about how she feels, it might seam like you're shying away or like her less. So show her you love her.
My brother wets the bed and he is extremely sensitive about it, so chances are she's probably the same. It's the same as anything else, just make sure you don't give her a hard time and eventually she will forget about it and then you can gradually ease into it and try different ways to stop it kinking your relationship.
awww you're a good boyfriend!
maybe wet the bed with her. its like, hey bro you arent alone. and hopefully yall can both laugh it off. OR simply keep telling her it doesnt bother you. everyone wants an indoor pool. lmfao xD eventually she'll have to open her eyes and see you dont mind. just be gentle with word choices.
