The best homemade gift i gave to a family member was the my chore gift. I made a little booklet and each page is a dif. chore i would do. Like the dishes, walk the dog, massage, clean kitchen, things like that. I made it look cool and creative and my dad loved it. It wasnt as much fun for me but he seemed to really like it and he used it up pretty fast haha.

You could get him HIS favorite stuffed animal! Does he like raccoons? Moose? Ducks?

You can get him a CD of his kind of music, or a book about a subject he likes, or a DVD or video he might like.

You can get him a book or movie with a character with the same name as he has. For example, if his name is Jack, you could get him "24", or "Lost", or "Law and Order".

Can you make him his favorite meal? That would be thoughtful. Make him a homemade card. Get in touch with your "inner child" and get out the glue and fabric and glitter and markers and make one heck of a card...or even a birthday banner. Can you sew? You could make him a comfy pillow with his favorite team's fabric.

Well maybe you can go to a pottery place either pick one out yourself or you can even paint one yourself! That would be a really nice gift! You can choose a baseball mitt and paint it brown with your name signed on it and get a nice card with a nice description on it. I hope I helped and that's what I would do! Good luck!

is theres something that ment alot to you both when you were young that would be good. otherwise, what are some of his likes? is he into sports? try giving him golf clubs or something like that lol. just think hard about what he may like. try a starbucks card and maybe dinner out with him? starbucks cards ALWAYS work, so maybe you should try that. good luck, hope this helped.

u should take him to do the things that he likes to do most for one day. then take him to his favorite restaurant. Just a dad and his stepdaughter's day. If u need help w/ cash, i'm sure your mother would give u half or somehting if u explain what u want to do. believe it or not, stepdads love that stuff b/c they are always insecure about their stepdaughter liking them.
