OK i think i might have confused you with the last post... i have now used a Vector to store the data in... never used them before (i am C# not C++) but Vectors are cool.... take a look see what you think
i have your menus all set up, it first asks for the name of a file and then loads that into the Vector (creating a class for each row in the data file) then moves on to a second menu and that's where you take over.... there is still quite a bit to do.. validate the data read in from the file and then displaying the information for tasks 1 and 2.... i have put a temp option (999) in the menu that gives an example of printing out the content of the Vector... (that took some figuring out i can tell you :>/)
I'm gonna leave it there (unless you need more guidance) I'm not an expert in C++ so if someone else wants to guide you (and me) on the correct way...

You want a start. Start by making a list of things you have to do. You could almost call this a flowchart.
You cannot open a file before you have the file name. So the order that you do things in is important.
Read and fully understand the problem. Or do I mean fully read and understand the problem? Everything you need is there for you.
Also note the section at the end GRADING KEY for how the score is rated. This will give you more of a clue about what you are required to do.
You cannot be such a newbie at this as classes are required.
Have fun.
