I don't know what to do and i really want to enter. Do i just show up or what? or is it different for all places?

You have to fill out a registration form. And usually pay a small fee like $10 just to prove you are serious. The shows are advertised in the newspaper and will have the contact info. The State Fair and the County Fair also have a show which you can enter by calling the state or county main info line (blue pages in the phone book)..
