How do I remove duck-tape residue from a metal shelf?
I have a shelf that had some very old duck tape on it. When i pulled it off, it left a layer of residue. I have tried scrubbing it off and it dosent work. What should I use to get it off?
That's duct tape, sweetie -- because it was originally designed to seal joints in air ducts. The residue, however, comes off easily with products like Goof Off or Goo Gone. WD-40 works, tho not as well. Depending on the brand, fingernail polish remover works also.
