I know God is real because of what he has done in my life. I was brought the idea of God in high school and did the research of God. From what I could see, God could answer questions and still act upon our lives. So I secretly tested God as a non-Christian. Then he showed himself to me. It was in a picture that I was working on. Just something that I never saw before and I knew that God had placed it there just for me. After that I believed that he existed but I wasn't sure which religion or "aspect" of God was true. So I did more questioning and started praying and eventually I got my answer. After that he has worked many wonders in my life. I can see where you think it's a lot of BS but for me it's not. I know He's real because he showed me that he is. I can't explain it better than that because my experience would not have the same effect that one would have on you.

That's the catch, we don't know for sure, that's why religion is based on belief and in turn faith. It's what you feel within that will tell you what's real. I've been questioning the belief's that I was raised to believe in and I know how you feel. I think Ive come to the conclusion that I believe in a God that knows our souls because it's something to believe in, something to ask for help to when I'm lost in life, it's all that other stuff that I'm not too sure about.

You have to pretty much do research, learn facts, history, the bible and then draw your own beliefs from it. I've been on that track for some time now and I think I know how to feel about it all.

You don't have to see something to believe in it. God is faith, his not a person or a thing. He is something you feel in your hearth. Is like when your in love you don't see that your in love but you feel it. I don't know where you got that but bullshit to me is what your saying.
