I was just curious on the process of growth of a dog's tail. Some dogs start off with small tails, then grow longer. Is there a name for this process? Or any details on how exactly does it grow?
:x I'm over thinking it but honestly I'm just extra curious.

How long were you when you were born and how tall are you now? Since the tail is a continuation of the spine, it grows in length, just like you grew, until fully mature. If you see adult dogs with short tails, either they have been docked, or a a natural bob tail breed such as the Bulldog.
different breeds are docked for various motives- some are finished so as that the tail can not be used to snatch the dogs if it relatively is attacking a human- for some, it relatively is docked to maintain it from getting caught in bramble, and so on.- for some, it relatively is docked so as that the animals being herded can not get ahold of the dogs by the tail- so, there's a historic clarification for tail docking. There are some breeds (Pembroke corgis)- that are born without a tail
The same way as the rest of him grows. Maturity - food!!
