When you change the coolant the capacity is 5.7 US quarts for the 5-speed and 5.6 quarts for the automatic.
However total capacity of the 5-speed is 7.28 US quarts and total capacity of the automatic is 7.2 US quarts. The reason for the difference is that some of the old coolant still remains in the system when you drain it. For this reason the system should be flushed with clear water and then you should add permanent anti-freeze [undiluted] to make at least a 50% solution and no more than 70% solution. So the minimum of permanent antifreeze you use should be 3.64 US quarts. If you simply drain it and refill it you will have quite a bit of old coolant still in the system and if you flush it and add premixed 50% solution your strength will be less than 50% antifreeze due to the extra water still in the system. After adding the required amount of permanent antifreeze, top it off with water. Use some of the left over antifreeze to make a 50% solution to fill the over flow bottle to the proper level. Check the level after running the car and letting the engine cool down.
Distilled water is preferable to tap water for use in automotive cooling systems. The minerals and ions typically found in tap water can be corrosive to internal engine components, and can cause a more rapid depletion of the anti-corrosion additives found in most antifreeze formulations.
buy 50/50 anti freeze. its pre mixed coolant and distilled water. you dont have to worry about mixing it. its usually have of a container you buy at a auto parts store. if its empty, fill it until u see it at the opening for the coolant.

5.7 quarts, so 3 quarts antifreeze and the rest is water.
