I'm considering getting one. Without their shots and whatnot...
I'm going to get one soon and the asking price is $300. Do you think I could bargain with them since the puppies don't have their shots or anything?

dont buy a mutt that is probably from a back yard breeder and line there pocket check out your local shelter and get a dog there please
Please understand this: Cockapoos and spoodles are nothing more than mutts. They are not pure bred anything. They are mixes; that's all. You might as well breed Lassie with a junk yard dog.
No mixed breed dog is worth three hundred dollars.
Go to a shelter....get a REAL dog.
Or just wait...those dogs you mention will end up in a shelter sooner or later.
Edit: Sorry....as a more direct answer to your question: There is no such thing as a "normal" cockapoo and/or spoodle; therefore there is no "normal" price range. Those people are trying to foist off a breeding mistake and get you to pay for it, at the same time.
Cost Of Cockapoo
If you want a mixed breed dog (cockapoos and spoodles are NOT breeds - they are mutts/mixed breed dogs), then go to your local shelter and adopt one that has those mixes in them.
You'd be saving a life, spending less money and getting a puppy that is neutered/spayed, all shots, wormed, etc.
Don't line the pockets of backyard breeders selling mutts for high prices.
Adoption prices are never that high for mixed breed pups. The shelter that my family owns and operates has an adoption fee of anywhere from $90 to $150, and that depends on the age and if the dog is fixed or not. If I were you, I'd find another shelter.
If you're thinking about buying a Cocker/Poodle mix or any poodle mix, DON'T. Never support BYBs and puppymills by buying a mixed breed dog.
i suggest you not get from those people. if they're selling the puppies over $100 bucks WITHOUT any vaccines, they are definitely not a good breeder, most likely back yard breeders. also it may cost you a lot more in the long run, a poorly bred animal more likely will develop structure problems, possibly worse allergies, ear infections, eye infections, skin infections that already the cocker spaniel (in the mix) is prone too.
i suggest you adopt from a shelter, there's plenty of mutts in there already vaccinated and even spayed/neutered for half the cost.
They are maybe a couple hundred at most from shelters. And don't ever buy from a breeder that breeds mutts. Not to mention they are too friggin lazy to vaccinate. The ones at shelters come already spayed/neutered and UTD on shots. So you'll actually be saving yourself a fortune going that route.
OMG someone actually had the nerve to breed those mutts. Talk about a heinz 57!!!!
Go to a shelter and adopt a puppy that has already had shots and is spay/neutered.
Or tell the idiot you will take on off their hands for nothing
$300 for a MUTT with no shots?
They are only worth the vet care that was put into them.. if they dont have shots, they are not worth anything.
Try your local shelter or rescue if you want a mutt.. for less than $300 you can find a nice mutt who has shots, worming, and also possibly spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Hmm, to me I think it might be a bit much. I guess it might just depend on which farrier you use. I have an 11 year old off track thoroughbred and I only pay $65 a month for him to get shod, trimmed, and shooed. I guess as long as he is doing good work then it is a reasonable price.
The pup must be at least 8 weeks old before you bring it home. They should have had their first shots by then. The shots are very very important so the pup does not get Parvo or distemper. A very important shot. Or you could loose your pup to one of the two. You should always take a newly acquired dog to the Vet to get a health check & be brought up to date on shots.
I would try to jew them down as low as possible cause the dogs are just X's & should not cost that much. Someone is trying to get rich at the expense of the pups.
